Whenever I’m surfing Pinterest and land on something about “paleo-friendly cookies”, my eyes roll legit ALL the way back in my head. Okay, let me just spend three hours in the kitchen covered in almond flour and when I emerge, I’ll weakly smile and force this bitter pencil eraser of a baked good on my friends and family. We’ll tell ourselves it’s good as we enter its only saving grace, great macros, into MyFitnessPal.
It is everyoneâ€™s dream to have a good looking, sexy body. But the journey towards achieving that can be quite challenging. There are some lifestyle changes you will need to make if you want to stay shapely and sexy, one of them being choosing carefully the foods that you eat. Did you guys hear that I’m doing the Spartan? Yep, that’s right –Â come February (along with my team Will Burpee for Beer – great name, eh?) I’ll be in a race where we’ll jump over fire, crawl under barbed wire, throw spears, scale walls and complete more obstacles you can’t even imagine. Am I intimidated? You bet. But I’m also excited, and training up for the big day.
Maybe it’s because I’ve only lived in the South (now, Southwest), but I’ve always preferred my coffee cold. Lately, the buzz in chilled coffee is all about cold brew. Whereas traditional iced coffee is brewed hot like normal and then iced down, cold brew is never exposed to heat.
Major retailers are starting to catch on to cold brew now, but I can honestly say I’ve been on the train for quite some time. I love that its taste is smoother than iced coffee and seems easier on the tummy (probably because of the reduction in acidity), but it actually packs a way more powerful caffeine punch.
