I’m always looking for a great facial cleanser, and Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser does the trick in twenty different ways. It fights blemishes better than its Neutrogena or Clean and Clear counterparts, and the tingling icy feeling on your face is amazing. (As I’ve said before, I love products that feel like they’re doing something.) I pop this baby out right when I wake up in the morning, and it energizes and invigorates me.
I’m a hair abuser. I color, flat iron, blow dry, go swimming capless, and generally mortify my hair by living under the desert sun. So for me, a product like Redken Anti-Snap is a dream. Just wash and condition as normal, and then apply some AntiSnap to the lengths and especially ends of your hair. (I use about two pumps of the bottle for my shoulder-length hair…three on an especially burny Phoenix afternoon!)
I use eyeliner nearly every day I put on makeup, and it’s also one of the products I get the most questions about because it’s hard to apply perfectly. Pencil liner smudges and moves, while liquid requires an experienced hand and can look overdone. So when I saw L’Oreal’s Mistake-Proof Marker eyeliner, I had to try it. I tried the Very Sexy Face Illuminator in Glow, and I was impressed. It’s a light shimmer creme that’s about the texture of concealer. A perfect highlighter that complements best spread high on the cheekbones, it’s also excellent on the bridge and tip of your nose, apples of your cheeks, or the browbone. This is one of those drugstore products I’m always recommending, so I figured I should officially review it. Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave-In Serum is a great all-in-one product for a good price: it reduces frizz, adds shine, and gives hair a generally polished look. One of the reasons I love it is that it’s great on a multitude of hair types – curly, straight, wavy, Carrot Top… the list goes on.
