Adovia Dead Sea Salt Deep Hair Conditioner Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I’ll admit, I have a negative association with “Dead Sea” themed beauty. Back in high school, I was bamboozled by a pushy salesman at a kiosk in my mall into $150 of Dead Sea skincare products. Did they work? Sure, but I didn’t want to spend $150 to make that happen. The “hard sell” doesn’t turn me on.

Still, as you know, I’m very into natural haircare products. I was impressed with the ingredients list on the Adovia Dead Sea Salt Conditioner, and the product is unique in that it not only features natural goodness but also mineral goodness. Say what? Minerals are big in makeup, but I’ve never heard of them in haircare. Can this really work?

The answer is, oh yessirree bob. Dead Sea salt, it turns out, contains over 21 skin and hair rebuilding minerals such as magnesium, calcium, sulfur, bromide, iodine, sodium, zinc and potassium. And this conditioner is made with 100% pure, genuine Dead Sea salt. It’s also got aloe and other hair happiness.

Now for the real talk. Did it leave my hair happy? You know I have issues with dryness, but after my very first use, this definitely left my ends nice and hydrated. However, I felt like my mane needed a few washes to get used to the mineral content and actually put it into action.

Once I gave it a chance to work, my hair seemed to “get used” to the high mineral content and got silkier and softer with each use. That was very exciting to me.

I’ll keep you posted on where it goes, but I’m excited to see how this mineral hair thing works out – and a little less wary of the Dead Sea sell.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
