Fashion Events in Boston this Week (including Boston Fashion Week)

Boston Fashion Week events catwalk

Let’s face it, my New England darlings – a city nicknamed Beantown wasn’t formed as a pillar of the fashion forward community. But anyone who has spent much time up here knows that there are plenty of stylish Bostonians – and with all that old money traipsing down the Cape, it’s easy to see where it comes from. Boston has style beyond brisker-weather’s compulsory peacoats – we even have a Boston Fashion Week, and its events kick off this week! Check out their site for a full breakdown of BFW-related events.

Here’s a quick rundown of some of the shindigs that will keep you among our fair city’s best dressed, or just entertain you if you’re in love with wearable art like I am:

  • Saturday, Sep. 30, 10AM: sneaker and streetwear retailer SNIPES is throwing a grand opening affair for its brand new store at 467 Washington Street. Artist Ambrojah will be customizing pieces including Air Force Ones and Bostonian DJ SuperSmashBroz will spin a vibe.
  • Sep 30 – Oct. 7 – continuous Boston Fashion Week events; see their site for details.
  • Monday, Oct. 2, 7PM: The 2023 Boston Fashion Awards will be held at the Omni. Get tickets here – we are assured they will cost more at the door.
  • Thursday, Oct. 5, 9PM: weekly, Fashionably Late Thursdays brings Boston’s fashion scene to life. The event transforms the lobby of the Liberty Hotel into an interactive fashion show, complete with a DJ set and models galavanting on bannisters. Get your tickets here.
  • Sunday, Oct 8, 4PM: ALE, a BFW fashion show will kick off on Revere Hotel Rooftop hosted by Mikey V and comedian Nick Yousif. Cocktails, treats, fashion and it all helps benefit the New Hampshire Breast Cancer Coalition, so feel good about getting your ticket here.

Which events are you attending, and where would you like to see us?
