They say your hair is the first thing people notice about you, and nobody has great hair without great styling tools. I picked up the FHI Heat Nano Weight Pro 1900 Turbo Hair Dryer, and I have to say I’m impressed. Hairdryers aren’t typically too exciting, but this one delivers benefits I didn’t even know I was looking for!
My first surprise came in the Nano Weight Pro 1900 Turbo’s weight – it’s unbelievably light. The hairdryer also features 2 speed settings and 3 temperature settings, making it easy to adjust to your liking. And the power cord is insanely long. This may seem inconsequential, but if you like to dance around the bathroom singing “My Sharona” while you style like I do, it comes in handy for avoiding yanking your brand new hair dryer out of the wall socket.
The FHI Heat Nano Weight Pro 1900 comes straight out of the box with the concentrator attached, which made it much easier to fully dry each portion of my hair by only combing it out and running the dryer over it. I thought with such a tiny opening for the air to escape, my hair would take forever to dry – not so! I spent much less time with the blow dryer than I normally do, and without feeling like my scalp was burning off to boot. There’s a good reason for this – the Nano Weight Pro 1900 Turbo uses a ceramic tourmaline technology (similar to what you might have in your tourmaline flat iron) that uses negatively charged ions to seal in moisture while reducing drying time. Similarly, it uses Nano-Fuzeion Technology, which combines tourmaline, titanium oxide & silver nano ions to leave hair soft, shiny and healthy while removing bacteria and toxins. See, science can be sexy!
The Nano Weight Pro 1900 Turbo wouldn’t be complete without some bells and whistles – the Turbo button delivers some extra power, while the Cool Shot button sets your style (a technique I’ve found works wonders). All in all, I adored this hair dryer!
The verdict: 10/10 – This one’s a winner, kids! Throw out your old Vidal Sassoon and pick one up.
