One of the most iconic makeup products is also one of my favorite components to my daily beauty routine: the MAC Paint Pot. The product can be used either for pigment, or for priming the eyelids before application of eyeshadow; I use it most often for the second instance, and it works wonders. I have mine in Painterly, a creamy nude beige color, but they are also available in a wide variety of other colors, both pearly and matte.
The paint pot intensifies the color of your shadows, making them vibrant and true. Green is really green; blue is really blue.
Another benefit: MAC Paint Pot extends the life of other eye makeup you’re wearing. Preventing creases, it keeps eyeshadow in place and looking great. It works so well, you could even sleep in it and your eye make up would still look great when you woke up! It’ll at least make it through a night of dancing with your best girlfriends. It’s one of my favorite eye shadow primers I’ve tried.
Another little secret? It works great as a concealer too, especially for covering dark under-eyes. Since the nude beige color of Painterly matches my skin pretty well, I just use a concealer brush and apply a little to my blemishes and under my eyes. It works better than a lot of actual concealers I’ve tried. I can’t say it would work for everyone, but if it matches your skin, I would definitely give it a try!
The verdict: 10/10!
I love this product, and would recommend it to anyone.
