There are few joys more indulgent or relaxing in the world than a truly luxurious spa facial. In preparation for the upcoming Spa Week, I was lucky enough to experience the Lira Lux facial from Redefine Laser Spa in Gilbert – and I was more than impressed.
Redefine is best known for offering the uber-cool Strawberry Laser solution to people looking to tone up specific areas of the body, but they also offer some incredible spa services including facials, waxing, and more. I had the Lira Lux facial along with a hand, scalp and foot massage. I’m getting more relaxed just thinking about it.
In the Lira Lux facial, cinnamon stimulates your circulation while magnesium stimulates collagen synthesis, and macadamia oil helps smooth and hydrate. It’s a skin-rejuvenating experience that I truly enjoyed. I can’t say I smelled cinnamon, but I was totally taken away by the silky feel and natural macadamia scent of all the products. (Especially the toner….wow. I’m still dreaming about it.)
Speaking of the toner (which imparts pH balance and uses camellia), let’s discuss the products they used. Redefine is the only spa in the Phoenix area currently offering the Lira skincare line, and based on my experience, that’s a HUGE selling point. The products left my skin feeling smoother, softer, and looking more radiant. I was tempted to touch my face all day after my facial. (And they smelled INCREDIBLE.)
Interested in trying it for yourself? Now’s the time: they’re offering $50 facials for Spa Week (Oct 20-26 – next week!), AND –

I am trying to find a good spa week deal locally. Do they actually use a laser when they’re doing the facial ?
Diane – no, their facials do not use lasers. The “laser spa” refers to the laser inch loss part of their business. You can read more on their website (RedefineLaserSpa.com). This facial uses Lira skincare products, which they also offer for sale in the spa and which are not offered elsewhere in AZ (at least not anywhere I can find). I loved it, and I bet you would too!
