You guys may recall my beginning use of the Proactiv skincare program a few weeks ago — now I’m here to check in with some results!
I gotta say, I’m loving my results so far, particularly in the improvement in my skin texture. One issue with being a 30 (ech) year old with zits is that even though my skin problem is one common among young people, that doesn’t necessarily mean my skin looks young in all the positive ways.
Now, my skin texture is not only zit-free, but smoother and more even-looking. Just check out my “Before” picture, taken before starting Proactiv:
And here’s my “After”, taken just today:
What an improvement, right? My forehead area is 1000% better.
The system, as you may recall from my first post, is an easy 3-step solution to all of our most common acne and blemish issues. Step 1 is the Renewing Cleanser, Step 2 is the Revitalizing Toner, and Step 3 is the Repairing Treatment. It’s easy to keep track of every morning and night, and unlike some other lines, I always remember what to do next without having to refer back to some booklet.
My favorite product in the line is definitely the toner, which I think not only helps to reduce blemishes but truly delivers that skin clarity I’m so enjoying. Plus, it’s alcohol-free! Alcohol is known to have a dulling effect on the skin, so that’s a relief.
Although it’s not an official part of the 3-step process, I also really love the Oil-Free Moisture. With aging (!) skin like mine, it’s important to moisturize, but with other products I’m always afraid of clogging my pores and adding to acne woes. Not so here!
All in all, I’m definitely a fan. Have you ever tried Proactiv, or have you wanted to? What was your experience, or what held you back?

You are beautful, and your acne is not as bad as mine but I still want to try proactive
