Skincare Reviews: Murad Eye Treatment Complex

murad-eye-treatment-complex-2-spf-8 reviewAs you may be able to tell from my Instagram pics, I have some eye area issues, including dark circles, deep tear troughs and some undereye baggage. It’s not age, hydration, or how well-rested I am, as women with similar problems are so often told; rather, I’ve had these since I was a child. Really. They’re in photos of me when I was six years old. The truth is, dark eye areas and deep undereye circles are common in women with Eastern European heritage, so the Hungarian blood lurking not too far up the family tree from me may be responsible for the dull divots that have haunted my face for decades.

Skincare Reviews: Aveeno Positively Ageless Night Cream

Skincare Reviews Aveeno Positively Ageless Night CreamContinuing in my preventive maintenance approach to skincare, I tried Aveeno’s Active Naturals Positively Ageless Lifting and Firming Night Cream. The product is formulated with the ever-trendy shiitake mushroom complex and wheat proteins (because in theory, rubbing healthy foods on yourself is just as good for you as eating them).

Skincare Review: Athena 7 Minute Lift

Athena 7 Minute Lift Cream Review Wrinkle Cremes That WorkBecause of how many products I try, it’s very rare that one really piques my interest anymore. Athena’s 7 Minute Lift is one of the few that has succeeded in doing so. After seeing its slogan “Facelift in a Jar”, I assumed this was your typical glue-like moisturizer that might produce some results after 6 grueling weeks of daily use. Not so! Ladies, if you have wrinkles, sagging skin, laugh lines, or essentially any skin you’d like firmed and smoothed, you cannot miss out on this.

Athena 7 Minute Lift is very unique as products go. First of all, it’s not a cream so much as a thick gel – it comes with a concealer brush that you use to “paint” it onto your face and smooth problem areas. The product comes with detailed instructions on doing so, and even provides a Q&A of what to do if you have any number of problems with or questions about your results.
