Some cosmetics companies are using nanotechnology to break down normal active ingredients into nanoparticles so they work more effectively. For example, certain sunscreens are now using nanoparticles of titanium dioxide and zinc oxide. Another big trend is using nanosomes, which are tiny versions of liposomes (a popular moisturizing ingredient that’s already pretty small), to get moisture more deeply into the skin.
So what does this mean for your skin? Unfortunately, there’s no good scientific data to show proof of nanotechnology products working better yet – but by logical thought, they should, right? It all comes down to hope in a jar. If you want to try for yourself, check out L’Oreal RevitaLift Double Lifting Gel, which uses nanosomes. Enjoy!

Isn't it though? We're all chasing that miracle fountain of youth, but I think in the end it comes down to limiting free radical production in skin.
