I got Lightest Blonde #10 and followed the directions to a T. I never wore ash blonde well, so I loved the warm, rich color this gave me. If you’re looking for ash blonde or find that warmer/brassier tones wash you out, keep looking.
This product dealt with every problem I’ve ever had with drugstore haircolor. It even came with a brush tip for the colorant bottle so you could evenly comb the product through your hair. I loved that since I’ve always done the same thing myself at home by simply using a plastic wide-toothed comb while coloring!
The color didn’t even smell too bad – amazing, since light blonde usually smells like insecticide. And the conditioner (I always use the conditioner it comes with – you never know how yours will react with new color) smelled and felt like salon products, which is a rare experience for cheapy ol’ me. The box instructed me to wait only ten minutes, a stretch from the 25-plus my allover blonde haircolor usually mandates. I jumped in the shower after 10 minutes and, sure enough, my color was rich and beautiful, and my roots nowhere in sight. I’m a believer!
The verdict: 10/10– if I were in a different mood, you can bet there’d be some silly pun here, so be thankful.
