This SPF 18 foundation offers an on-the-fence type of coverage, definitely not sheer and definitely not full. While it seemed to mask minor discoloration like dark undereye circles well, my blemishes showed right through, so plan on using a concealer in conjunction with this baby if you’ve got zits.
Anyway, it’s not a bad finish for a sheer daytime look, and I did enjoy the blendable texture and dewy finish I got when I first applied it. My biggest problem with Maybelline Mineral Power Liquid Foundation is that it feels pretty greasy. I have combination skin, so rubbing this stuff on in some places produced a pretty oil slick-ish feel. Still, for light coverage and a pretty glow it’d work well.
The verdict: 6/10 – It’s a good price, but pick it up only if you have drier skin and don’t mind using a concealer to deal with blemishes.
