Olivia Rodrigo’s “Get Him Back” music video is… Chaotic, to say the least. But as usual, her look is fresh, clean, and 100% the moment. We remain OBSESSED! Follow the steps below to cop the full Olivia Rodrigo “Get Him Back” makeup look:
Olivia’s look in this video is sticking with the clean girl aesthetic that she arguably popularized, and it contrasts beautifully with her punky Docs, echoing the bubblegum-rock vibe she embodies.
Olivia’s makeup artist has used NARSLight Reflecting Foundationon her – we don’t know the exact shade she wears, but she looks tanner here so my guess is Salzburg.
Sticking with NARS, I know you have The Multiple in that makeup bag – Olivia’s actual shade is Copacabana. Combo this with NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm for rosy, doll girl cheeks – start deep in the cheekbones and blend forward.
For eyes, blend the brown shade from the Laguna Quad Eyeshadow into the crease, then wash the entire lid with the copper shade to create a seamless finish out and up the browbone.
For liner, the wing here is subtle – a baby wing. Flick Climax Liquid Eyeliner out low (that’s the NARS one but honestly you could do this with Nyx and it would be fine), a la puppy eyes (a trend so ahead of its time).
The brows are natural but the look is laminated – you can simulate brow lamination with a product like Anastasia Brow Freeze to lock your eyebrow hairs in place.
Forever on trend, it seems Olivia is purposely clumping her lashes into the doll like separated effect that’s all over TikTok. You can do it too! Bambi Eye mascara is perfect for this – swipe it on and while it’s still wet, take a pair of tweezers (be so careful and aim the points up, outward and away from your eyes) and squeeze your lashes together every 1/4″ or so. The effect isn’t extreme here, so don’t overdo it.
The Multiple is already highlighting your cheeks, but the inner corners of your eyes and your nose bridge need some love. Lightly dab on a highlighter stick (the L’Oreal Infallible one is actually bomb) and blend for a super flawless look.
The look is topped off with a super juicy pink lip – Olivia wore the Afterglow Sensual Shine Lipstick and the Powermatte High-Intensity Lip Pencil to the VMAs, but for this look I like an ultra high wattage shiny pink lip like Dior Glossy Pink over lip pencil (my fave is Urban Decay in Liar).
