Are You A Sassinista?

In my tenure running SassyDove.com, I’ve had the greatest experience I could ever call a “job” in my life. I can’t believe I make money on a daily basis being creative, writing about what I actually think, using the Internet, trying my favorite products, and having fun, fashionable adventures. No two days are the same. I’m incredibly blessed.

The most amazing blessing of all, though, is the community of smart, funny, likeminded chicks who frequent this site. It’s amazing how well you all represent the exact image I had in my head for Sassy Dove’s prototypical reader: the “sassinista”, if you will.

The Sassinista is the girl other girls want to be, mainly because she doesn’t care whether anyone wants to be her or not. She looks at the world with a raised eyebrow, a smirk and a fruity drink in one hand. She’s ready to let things make her laugh, first and foremost.

She has strong opinions, but she’d never judge another woman on her body, her clothes or her smudged mascara, because she knows in her fast-paced and fashion-forward life, she’s committed style sins at least as egregious. In fact, she avoids judgment in general, because, for lack of a better term, she doesn’t want to be a d**k. Her guilty pleasures are out in the open, and she isn’t worried what you think about them. She doesn’t take herself, or anything else, too seriously.
