Olay Whips Your Skin Into Shape in 2026

Does your skin get dry in the winter? Of course it does. It’s winter. Try living out here in the Arizona desert. After Christmas we Phoenicians look less like goddesses and more like a vintage handbag. Seriously– after a full winter of this dryness, my face feels rougher than a Piers Morgan interview with Tonya Harding. (zing!) Luckily, there’s (real) hope in a jar. Hearing about Olay’s line of Olay Whips makes my skin thirsty for some much-needed hydration. But these products offer more than just a catchy moniker – there’s real science behind it.

Even if you don’t live in drier climates, winter has some surprising negative effects on skin. Our skin starts to feel the effects of cold weather when temperatures drop below 53.6 degrees Fahrenheit. And perhaps most surprisingly, central heating can reduce air humidity levels to the same moisture content as the Sahara Desert (that’s a relative humidity of just 20-25%). So the problem isn’t necessarily the cold weather, but what we have to do to deal with it.

The science behind Olay Whips

You see, when colder temps roll around we’re often tempted to grab those heavy petroleum jelly type moisturizers, but that doesn’t necessarily mean better skincare. Olay Whips’ Active Rush Technology holds and quickly releases one thousand times its weight in hydration and active ingredients, leading to instant absorption and residue-free skin.

Curious to try it for yourself? Check out Olay on Facebook or head out to your local Albertson’s and pick some up yourself – and check back in as we review the product over the next few weeks here at Sassy Dove! I’ll be trying it here and updating you guys on my progress. I’m excited to see what effects it has on my skin.
