How did you get into beauty blogging?

I started my old blog The Beauty Bunny originally as a way to simply keep track of products I liked and products I didn’t. Once I found that there was an interest in what I had to say, I began exploring the blogging community. Since then, I’ve discovered the entire world behind blogs and how they work.

How do I become a beauty blogger?

Blogging is easy – blogging for life, not so much. You can easily start your own blog at Blogger or WordPress, but if you really want a customized look and feel, I recommend getting your own webspace through a service like GoDaddy and downloading WordPress from wordpress.org. To do this long term, you’ve really got to love to write – otherwise, you’ll run out of steam. Write about what you love – if it’s beauty, that’s great, but if not, make sure it’s whatever moves you. That’ll keep you going and trust me, there’s someone else out there who loves what you love as much as you do. Researching SEO and what Google likes to see in sites will drastically help to improve your readership early on – and don’t be afraid to connect with other bloggers like me!
