Makeup Reviews: Stila Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer

Stila Tinted Moisturizer ReviewFull coverage foundation has been feeling too heavy lately – I’m in for a more natural look, so I’ve been sampling a lot of tinted moisturizers lately. I tried Stila’s Sheer Color Tinted Moisturizer in Light, since I’m a big fan of the brand in general and hoped it would measure up to BeneFit You Rebel and Sugartint.

The color was a perfect match for my skin (fair with slightly warm/yellow undertones), and I was impressed with Stila’s choice of different shades, since some tinted moisturizers who shall not be named offer only one or two color options. Sugar Cosmetics Sugartint Tinted Moisturizer Review

Sugar Cosmetics Sugartint Tinted Moisturizer ReviewKeeping on the tinted moisturizer theme, I tried Sugar Cosmetics’ Sugar Tint oil-free tinted moisturizer and I’m a bit confused. The coverage is a lot heavier than your traditional tinted moisturizer (just call it foundation already!) – it was enough for me to wear over my undereye circles and acne. I always feel good when I wear SPF, so both products give me that “I’m doing something for my skin and I look hot” glee.

Makeup Reviews: BeneFit You Rebel Lite

Benefit Cosmetics You Rebel Lite ReviewBenefit Cosmetics You Rebel Lite Tinted Moisturizer ReviewI love tinted moisturizers in general, so I decided to try BeneFit’s You Rebel Lite. I find the whole “tinted moisturizer” thing to be a bit of a misnomer for You Rebel Lite, as this product has the consistency and coverage closer to a light foundation. And the “Lite” isn’t an indication of texture, either – they released this version after complaints from fair-skinned babes that the original You Rebel was a bit too dark, so the name is all about the color. It’s not any less thick and creamy than the original.
