I don’t often review men’s products, mostly because I’m not a man. However, I do have a secret love of wearing men’s cologne. They just always smell so much deeper than women’s fragrances. So when Savon Pour Homme reached out to let me sample their line of cologne soaps for men, I couldn’t resist the gender-bending opportunity.
I received the starter set, which Savon Pour Homme describes as “a great way to experience our soaps without having to dive right into the real thing.” The soap starter set comes with a 4oz. oval-shaped body cleansing bar, a 3oz. round facial bar and two square samplers.
Soap for Men says their fragrance has been compared to the likes of Davidoff’s Cool Water and Armani’s Acqua Di Gio, and I definitely got the light, aquatic aroma. There’s a tinge of jasmine, though, which adds a subtle floral note that’s still manly enough for the most masculine of users. It felt extremely silky to use and reminded me a bit of LUSH Cosmetics’ soaps. Plus, it’s dye-free. Nice!
You can pick up the starter set for your man (or yourself – why not?) on SALE right now for only $6.99, or for just a couple bucks more jump right to the real thing with the Premium Set, which is supposed to have a more intense scent. Men should smell good!
