#tcellmaster Sometimes things happen that make you really consider the fact that the way we live our lives could hurt ourselves and our loved ones one day, if we’re not careful. It’s easy to say “live fast die pretty” when you’re 26 and only thinking about yourself.. but one day, the reality’s going to hit that an awful lot of people would have to take care of you (and will long for the days of taking care of you when you’re no longer around at all).
So THAT’S a bit of a downer… seriously though, we all need to take better care of our health. One interesting concept I discovered in my vitaminphile searching was that of T-cells. I’d heard of T-cell count, primarily in films about people with HIV – but what did it mean, and why was it important to my body?
I made a video discussing this very concept, what T-cells are and why they’re important to our bodies:
In the video, I also talk about what current supplementation I’m using to enhance my T-Cell count. I’ve been through a few of them, but this one is a reishi extract from PureSpores (found on Amazon). I prefer this one to others due to the potency in several aspects. One, it boasts higher bio-actives in the form of 50% polysaccharides annd 10% triterpenes. (For comparison, my last reishi supplement listed 10% polysaccharides and did not list triterpenes at all.)
It’s also 600mg and sourced from the fruit body and the shell-broken spores, which is said to increase the potency. Though reishi has been a part of Chinese medicine for thousands of years, I do not consider it homeopathy. I don’t necessarily believe in homeopathy. But I do believe in the numerous studies that show the link between these bio-actives and your T-cell count.
Thanks to PureSpores for sponsorship / sending me your supplement. I deeply appreciate it. It’s a part of my daily routine now.
This is interesting. I never heard of this supplement before. Will look more into it, thank you
