Disney and Nick’s Redhead Stars: Where Are They Now?

Remember rushing home to flip on the Disney Channel? The fleet of young stars were almost universally destined for greater things – and to become the next generation’s huge hotties (just look at how Ross Lynch has grown 👀).

As you know, here at Sassy Dove we’re all about the redheads, so here are some of our favorite redheaded stars and starlets of Disney and Nickelodeon fame and where they’ve spent their grownup time (plus, their best look yet [imo]).

Bella Thorne

Perhaps the most infamous in her claims to post-Disney fame on this list, Bella’s rise to grownup stardom has been a controversial one. Her days in Shake it Up with Zendaya and Blended with Adam Sandler were soon overshadowed by a highly active SnapChat account and ultimately, an OnlyFans debut. Since she has also directed an, ermmm… grownup film, we can say her Disney days are well over.

Despite Bella’s public antics and constant speculation about her sobriety, surgeries and more (which she seems to revel in), the girl’s got style – even if it isn’t yours, you’ve gotta respect it. Check our fave Bella fashion moment: devouring French braids, Versace heels and an olive green minidress on the set of Extra with Mario Lopez to promote the #LoveYourNature campaign.

Debby Ryan

You may have met Debby in her Disney sitcom Jessie where she portrayed a sassy Texan babysitter looking after a group of rich siblings (or maybe it was The Suite Life On Deck!), but her recent fame has been all about the memes. Who hasn’t seen Debby’s cringey smirk or DJ intro from Radio Rebel?

Debby has had so many phenomenal fashion moments, but for us she’s best in this YANINA Spring 2018 couture she wore to the AMAs:

Calum Worthy

Speakling of everyone’s favorite endearingly-weird sidekick Dez from Austin and Ally hasn’t fallen off the map – in fact, he was on Hulu’s smash based-on-a-true-nightmare The Act as Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s unhinged love interest and accomplice Nick Godejohn, and will start in the new comedy series Reboot with Keegan-Michael Key and Judy Greer.

While Calum isn’t featured on as many runways as most of this list, we love that he’s a risk taker who channels Dez in his fashion moments, including this daring suit from the Emmys:

Ariana Grande

While she’s not a redhead now, Ari made her debut in our hearts and minds as the ruby-locked Kat in Victorious and later, Sam & Kat. Obviously, her career has exploded as it was quickly revealed that Ariana possesses one of the greatest voices of her generation. Combined with a keen sense of what pop wants, there was never any stopping this babe.

There’s no shortage of current-era Ari out there, so let’s feature our girl pre-Sweetener – she wore this adorbs strapless nude-pink ensemble to the Nick 2011 Kids Choice Awards, major throwback!

What stars are you remembering from the days of Gen Y yore? Should we do blondes next? A Degrassi: TNG throwback perhaps for Sir Drake? Let us know in the comments below!

OnlyFans Tips You Need to Use Today

OnlyFans is a social media platform that lets you earn money through subscriptions. You create content for your fans, and your fans pay to see it.

Of course, it’s easier said than done. Making money off of OnlyFans is a challenge, especially with the sheer amount of creators on the platform.

The following tips will help you boost your OnlyFans presence and gain more followers. Check them out.

Identify Your Fans

You need to know who’s watching you. Your target audience, or “fans,” can be different people with the same interests. They may be gym buffs, foodies, beauty enthusiasts, etc.

Once you have identified your target audience, make sure that your profile — from the description to the header to the content– connects with these fans. More OnlyFans tips below.

Create a Good Header and Description

The first thing your fans will see on your profile is your header. Use a high-quality photo that shows what your fans can expect from your profile.

If you do NSFW (not safe for work) content, note that full-frontal nudity is forbidden in headers.

Meanwhile, your OnlyFans description is your best chance to sell your content to subscribers. Why should they choose you over another creator? What offers can they get from you? Write an enticing description and capture their attention.

Share Previews and Snippets

Share sneak previews on other platforms before launching your main content. If you have Instagram or Twitter, you can share behind-the-scene images, teasers, or trailers.

If you do NSFW content, Twitter is your best option. It’s less restrictive when it comes to adult content. Meanwhile, Instagram is best for candid shots and videos.

Remember to use relevant hashtags so you can bring the preview right where your audience is. Tag relevant people, too, if you collaborate with others.

Know Your Fans’ Common Requests

Fan requests are common. If you get similar requests from various fans and followers, make a note of it. There’s likely a high demand for such requests or content.

And when you create said request, share a sneak preview on social media. Encourage them to subscribe to your OnlyFans account to view the full version.

Invest in Tools

Keep your content interesting by investing in the right tools. Buy ring lights, high-quality cameras, noise-canceling microphones, cooking equipment, and more.

Some of the tools may seldom be used, while others will prove to be indispensable. Whichever tool you need, invest in the best ones to encourage your audience to subscribe to your content.

Offer Discounts

Your audience loves discounts. You can gain more followers by decreasing your monthly subscription price by a certain percentage. Run promotional discounts for special holidays like Christmas, or offer discounts every payday.

Be careful, though. Offering too many discounts too often may not sit well with your fans who have paid the full price. Gaining new subscribers and retaining existing ones are equally important.

Promote Other Profiles

Many times, competing with other creators isn’t the wisest decision. Social media works in mysterious ways. Often, it’s better to collaborate with other creators.

It can be as easy as a simple retweet or a mention on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. It’s not a zero-sum game: both you and the profile you promote can gain more followers.

Also, fans love crossovers and collaboration, whether they’re in movies, TV series, or OnlyFans content, so do that with other creators, too.

Create Great Content

Nothing beats fresh and great content. Subscribers are after your content, and you must give it to them.

If you promise fresh weekly updates, do that and more. Add value to your content by personalizing them. Make sure you don’t miss a beat, offer something new, and make it relevant to what your audience want. After all, content is king.

Three Gorgeous Ways to Wear Bangs

Bangs are the hottest new-old trend in hairstyles – even I recently added some fringe to my ‘do! Here’s are a few different basic styles of bangs. Check them out, pick one you like best and bravely march into your hair salon demanding a new style. Don’t be scared – it’s just hair!

Medium-Straight-Bob-with-Thick-Blunt-BangsBlunt-Cut Bangs

A perennial favorite of models, these bangs are cut to just below the eyebrow, straight across the forehead. Blunt cut bangs give the illusion of thickness, making them a great choice for those with fine hair. To create this look, hairstylists take a center triangle section (a tri-bangle, if you will) of hair beginning at the top of your scalp and cut the ends upward to create fullness. This triangle is referred to some as your “fringe”, even though fringe can really refer to any kind of bangs.

To make this hairstyle look modern and sleek, curl your bangs from underneath for added fullness, then style with a shine cream like L’Oreal Studio Line Smoothness Glossing Cream.

Celeb Beauty: What’s in Bella Thorne’s Makeup Bag?

Bella-Thorne Makeup Bag FeatureBella-Thorne makeup bag celebrity beauty tipsBella Thorne is the star of the Disney Channel’s Shake It Up!and a lovely face (one battling recent rumors of lip injections – oh my) on the rise whose name you’ll be hearing a lot more. Here’s what Bella told Seventeen she’s toting around in her (rather disorganized) Betsey Johnson bag, including her choice makeup products:

  • A deck of cards – no, really. She likes Crazy 8s!
  • Giorgio Armani mascara – she says she always uses this because it gives you the “best lashes!”
  • Pink lip gloss – don’t we all carry that around?
  • Her wallet with her Humane Society debit card, ’cause she’s an animal lover
  • A wallet charm that says her character’s name “Cecilia”, but that she hasn’t hooked on yet!
  • An unidentified photo… hmmmm…
  • Her iPhone
  • Mints
  • Lotion to re-moisturize on the plane when she’s travelling to shoot
  • Her favorite gum
  • Her Beats by Dre earbuds (they look like the Tour-in-Ear black pair), but strangely no iPod

What do you like best about Miss Thorne? Her new Kohls’ campaign, perhaps? Do you think she had lip injections?

Debby Ryan’s Halloween Makeup: Marilyn Monroe

Debby Ryan Jessie Marilyn Monroe Halloween MakeupStar of the Disney Channel’s uber-successful “Jessie”, Debby Ryan is near and dear to my heart as a fellow redhead (as is her Disney cohort Bella Thorne!). She dressed up as a rather funny version ofMarilyn Monroe in a Halloween episode of Jessie entitled “Ghost Bummers”, but the Instagram selfie she posted (right) was much more beautiful than funny.

To get the look, an absolute must is a powerful, lasting red lipstick – Lime Crime’s Velvetines Red Velvet liquid lipstick will withstand the most pungent Halloween party punch. (If you’re into more traditional- and cheaper- lipsticks, try Julie Hewett Rouge Noir – it’s a long lasting classic red.)
