Bella Thorne is the star of the Disney Channel’s Shake It Up! and a lovely face (one battling recent rumors of lip injections – oh my) on the rise whose name you’ll be hearing a lot more. Here’s what Bella told Seventeen she’s toting around in her (rather disorganized) Betsey Johnson bag, including her choice makeup products:
Star of the Disney Channel’s uber-successful “Jessie”, Debby Ryan is near and dear to my heart as a fellow redhead (as is her Disney cohort Bella Thorne!). She dressed up as a rather funny version of Marilyn Monroe in a Halloween episode of Jessie entitled “Ghost Bummers”, but the Instagram selfie she posted (right) was much more beautiful than funny.
We’re all looking for inexpensive versions of luxury skincare products that still do the trick to make us look younger and better. That’s one of the things that led me to pick up Lumene Time Freeze Firming Day Cream. I’m not all that saggy yet – but I’ve already got some areas that need serious help.
The product smells great, but it’s on the oily side – I’d only recommend it for really dry skin. It worked a lot better for me after I moved to Phoenix than when I lived in the humid Houston weather.
Get ready for some science, girls! The latest buzz in beauty and skincare products surrounds nanotechnology, which basically means the manipulation of extremely small particles. The idea is, teeny tiny ingredients can get deeper into the skin, contact more skin layers, and work faster.
I added this category just for this mascara because it made me mad. Don’t get me wrong: the tube is pretty and high-fashionish, shiny black with silver accents and that name-in-lights Max Factor logo. The problem is, they did this thing companies are doing now where they pack the brush outside of the tube, presumably to show off their patent pending iFx brush. Nothing wrong with that – except for that the cheap cardboard casing it comes in makes it difficult to remove the brush without damaging it. I literally bent the brush trying to get it out of the package. Thus, I had to ruin my mascara before I got to use it but after it was unreturnable.
Eh, it lengthened all right. My lashes didn’t climb to new heights, but they got a decent amount of length.
