L’Oreal Vive Pro Color Shampoo and Conditioner Review

loreal vive pro color vive reviewWhile I adore a good bargain in cosmetic products, I have to admit that I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to haircare. Consequently, I tend to turn up my nose at any shampoo or conditioner available at the drugstore. (If I don’t have to at least go to Trade Secret, it’s not good enough!) But I’ve enjoyed L’Oreal’s makeup and haircolor lines, so I thought I’d give their Vive Pro Color Vive line the chance to impress me.

Color Vive offers formulas for normal, damaged and highlighted hair; since I’m an ex-blonde with red color on top and a tendency toward strawlike Scarecrow strands, I opted for “damaged”. Review: Mane ‘n Tail Shampoo & Conditioner

Mane and Tail Shampoo ReviewIf you’re among the beauty-concerned, you’ve probably heard claims of the miracle shampoo and conditioner Mane and Tail. You won’t start neighing if you use it, trust me – we share many product favorites with horses, including hairbrushes, carrots and sugar cubes.

Review: Jessica Simpson Dessert Treats Shampoo

Review Jessica Simpson Dessert Treats ShampooI, like many girls, am a bargain shopper. If it’s on clearance, there is at least a 50% higher chance that I will buy it. So when I strolled into Walgreens and saw this shampoo sitting on the shelf covered in red stickers, I said, “I have to have it! It’s 75% off!”

Sure, there were a few red flags. It said “conditioning” before shampoo, as if the creators were under the delusion that ANY shampoo was moisturizing enough to entirely replace the role of conditioner. Worse, it said “shampoo and body wash”. Any combination product is generally terrible at both jobs. But the shopper in me took over, forgot that if Jessica Simpson’s image isn’t enough to sell it, it’s bad, and took this little gem home.
